Not exactly the type of book I was hoping to enjoy。 I really love self-help books but this one could barely keep up my attention。 At first it was good and helpful and it turned to be overrated and a bit of a head scratcher。 It’s quite hard to finish the book without feeling annoyed and disappointed。

Nope。 Nope。 Nope。 I can't finish this book and at 125 pages I am giving up。 This just doesn't work for me and to be honest I am not wasting anymore of my time trying to struggle through and read it when there are so many other amazing books out there to read。 Do you like the glass of red wine。 power of manifestation? “You are a spiritual being running around earth in a physical body。 Your desires were given to you when you showed up in human form and those desires are basically Universal Intelligence seeking expression through you。”This is just one of the many mind blowing statements Jen Sincero threw my way in this book。 I have had a poverty mindset most of my life and just realized it and started working on it about 7 years ago。 This book may be one of the biggest factors in blowing up all my false beliefs “You are a spiritual being running around earth in a physical body。 Your desires were given to you when you showed up in human form and those desires are basically Universal Intelligence seeking expression through you。”This is just one of the many mind blowing statements Jen Sincero threw my way in this book。 I have had a poverty mindset most of my life and just realized it and started working on it about 7 years ago。 This book may be one of the biggest factors in blowing up all my false beliefs and negative assumptions about money。I highly recommend you read this book no matter your mindset about money。 I bet there is still something holding you back。 。。。more

I liked parts of this book for go get it approach and energy of unscripted approach。 I dislike this book because the reading is more of a day in the life with little material or workable details that can be used for anyone。 I recommend only to people who seek a fresh take on making money。 I would not read this book again。

LOTS of BS about manifesting, some casual fatphobia woven throughout and wow, so uninformed about trauma and marginalization。

This book was uh-may-zinggg。 It’s really changed my perspective on many things。 I used to be a scrimper - looking for the best deals, not willing to buy new things despite growing older。 But I’ve now learnt that actually, self-improvement, and buying boujee clothes/food/experiences, is the best thing you can do for yourself。 Why? Because it shapes your identity as a RICH person。 I’ve made so many changes whilst reading this book - become more clear on what I want in the future, organised my finances better, bought myself things which will instantly upgrade some aspect of my life。 The biggest takeaway from this book for me was the notion that you can always afford things。 If you can imagine it, it already exists。 Never agin am I going to turn something away because ‘It’s too expensive’。 Instead, the mindset is, how will I make the money to get this。 The author shows that money is in constant circulation, and that there is an abundant amount for everybody。 So spend your money on things which will improve yourself and make you feel like a member of the upper class elite, and this high frequency will lead you to attract these sorts of people into your life。 “If you are here to become the grandest, most generous version of yourself, which you are, and if that costs money, which it does, it is your duty to get rich。” “If you sometimes feel hopeless because of all the pain and suffering in the world。。。one of the best things you can do is get rich。。money and power are intertwined, so if you want to help make a positive change, money is one of the most effective tools you can use to do it。” 。。。more

I’ve expected more from this book。 There were simple advices, that everybody knows。 That’s why, I couldn’t see why I should recommend this book。 I rated 2 stars because the autor’s words made me laugh sometimes。

Jen Sincero has a writing style that makes you want to get up and do things。 There were lots of parts of this book that I enjoyed and some that I couldn't quite get into。I liked that it talks about changing beliefs AND taking action。 However sometimes the whole manifestation and universe parts were a bit too woo-woo for me。 Jen Sincero has a writing style that makes you want to get up and do things。 There were lots of parts of this book that I enjoyed and some that I couldn't quite get into。I liked that it talks about changing beliefs AND taking action。 However sometimes the whole manifestation and universe parts were a bit too woo-woo for me。 。。。more

A delightful surprise to read this book。 It was given to me by my tenant among a stack of other books。 I began reading it and quickly liked it。 The author comes across as genuine, enthusiastic, and inspiring。 Jen Sincero uses her amazing sense of humor to help get her points across so well。

I liked the humor and humility woven into the book along with ideas of how to change your relationship with money。 Most of us are in a bad relationship badmouthing money and our scrawny paychecks that don't last long enough until we get another。 We don't see that we are actually repelling money, because its an energy。 A renewable resource。I like the idea of writing a letter to money and then rewriting it to be in a much more positive light。 I think money should want to hang out with me much more I liked the humor and humility woven into the book along with ideas of how to change your relationship with money。 Most of us are in a bad relationship badmouthing money and our scrawny paychecks that don't last long enough until we get another。 We don't see that we are actually repelling money, because its an energy。 A renewable resource。I like the idea of writing a letter to money and then rewriting it to be in a much more positive light。 I think money should want to hang out with me much more than it did and in bigger quantities, because I am a badass at making and keeping money around for all the awesome things we can do together。 。。。more

The main takeaway for me from this read was redefining the energy exchange i have and always known with money。 It’s about faith and gratitude in not just life but also applying that attitude to my finances。 It’s no easy feat but being a badass at money is possible。 It’s about believing is possible and not giving up on the dream of owning millions (if I so choose)。 It’s about being thankful for any and every small change and watching it all add up。

Love it! I have read a lot of books of this nature but this one really stood out for me。 I love the way this book is written, funny, witty but full to the brim with brilliant practical advice on moving through your own blocks and reaching your own version of badassery。 I am excited to continue on my journey with a lot more clarity and tons more enthusiasm so watch out Universe I am coming for my badass badge。

This book while a little too concise is one of those wake-up calls I've been hoping for。It terrified me with the facts of what I have to do but would it be worth it, hell yes。 This book while a little too concise is one of those wake-up calls I've been hoping for。It terrified me with the facts of what I have to do but would it be worth it, hell yes。 。。。more

Could not finish。 Like it's counterpart, You Are a Badass, it was not for me。 Repetitive and very chipper and unrealistic IMO。 Also, the way it is suggested to make money just does not seem realistic AT ALL。 Yes, let's all work multiple jobs and have no peace or any kind of life in order to make money。 Could not finish。 Like it's counterpart, You Are a Badass, it was not for me。 Repetitive and very chipper and unrealistic IMO。 Also, the way it is suggested to make money just does not seem realistic AT ALL。 Yes, let's all work multiple jobs and have no peace or any kind of life in order to make money。 。。。more

So encouraging! One thing to make note of though, is that the title may be misleading to some。 This book does not tell you ways to make money but inspires you to follow your dreams and passions。 The author has a unique way of telling her own personal story and has an uplifting message throughout the book。

I think this book was very motivational and also insightful on looking at money in a different light。 From the beginning, she sets up the foundation of a positive money mindset and builds on it throughout the book。 One thing that stood out to me was how she really emphasizes that money is energy and it’s a neutral force。 The labels we add to money is from us and is not objective。 Her words moved me to shift my mindset from something taboo and something hard to get to something I’m grateful to ha I think this book was very motivational and also insightful on looking at money in a different light。 From the beginning, she sets up the foundation of a positive money mindset and builds on it throughout the book。 One thing that stood out to me was how she really emphasizes that money is energy and it’s a neutral force。 The labels we add to money is from us and is not objective。 Her words moved me to shift my mindset from something taboo and something hard to get to something I’m grateful to have in my life for all the things I’ve been able to do with money I’ve earned。 Another thing that stood out to me was how a main point of manifesting money is so it can help support someone’s life。 That will allow someone to live their most authentic and badass self doing something they love without worrying about having enough money to provide for themselves。 I thought that the prompts at the end of each chapter were also good reflection questions to think about。 (I haven’t done all of them yet but I’m working my way through it)。 There’s also really good tips that’ll be really helpful to ensure the spark of motivation continues even after reading this book。 However, one thing that I wish the author did as go more specific and in depth with the stories she got from others。 For those stories it was kind of the same thing where someone got the money they wanted by simply believing。 I wish she dived into how for some people, even though it’s not impossible, it’s a lot difficult because of outside factors that one has no control of。 By making it seem like hey, you can do it without acknowledging certain factors even though it’s possible made this book not as accessible for everyone。 I think it would have reached more people if she did at least add a section of that。 Otherwise, this book was actually really insightful, like I mentioned。 I for sure want to re read this book through physical form this time instead of just through the audiobook。 Even though it was so nice hearing the author talk about this, I feel like I would have retained more by reading this book physically。 。。。more

Nothing special that you will learn in this book。 The author’s her own story of rags to riches after she hired a life coach will fascinate you for a while。 And some of you may also lookup for life coach just like I did。 The mantra that you will keep coming across in the book - I love money…I have recently become a fan of audio books。 No wonder I skipped some parts of the book。

This is my second time through 'You are a badass。。。', and I loved it just as much as my first reading。 Jen's approach to finances is very much in tune with the Law of Attraction。 What the mind can conceive, and believe, it can achieve。 If you've found your way to this book as a primary on saving and investing, this is the wrong book for you。 Jen is very funny, and matter-of-fact at times, and her core principles on how your MINDSET will help determine your financial destiny is spot-on。 I listene This is my second time through 'You are a badass。。。', and I loved it just as much as my first reading。 Jen's approach to finances is very much in tune with the Law of Attraction。 What the mind can conceive, and believe, it can achieve。 If you've found your way to this book as a primary on saving and investing, this is the wrong book for you。 Jen is very funny, and matter-of-fact at times, and her core principles on how your MINDSET will help determine your financial destiny is spot-on。 I listened to the audiobook which Jen narrates herself, and her dry dead-pan reads serves the material well。 Highly recommended for those looking for a book on HOW to THINK about money。 。。。more
